Can I swap the overflow location in a RR 75g?

So, it looks like i will be getting a used 75 gallon RR set up. It's a really good deal. Otherwise I'd wait and keep looking for a tank with the overflow on the side I want. Here's my question/situation...

Looking at the front of the tank, the overflow is in the back-left corner of the tank. It's a full length overflow box. I'd like for it to be in the back-right corner. Can I just remove the bottom glass, flip it 180 degrees, and re silicone it? Is there any reason why this wouldn't work? Or, is it going to be a lot of trouble taking bottom glass out?

Cutting out the bottom glass and flipping it sounds crazy to me. Why not cap the existing holes (with bulkhead fittings and caps) and cut new holes where you want them, then you can move the overflow after. Even that sounds crazy, but maybe someone has a better idea. Good luck!

It's going to be a lot more work than you think. IMO, this is one of the times when it's worth waiting for the right tank. Square pegs into round holes never work well when talking about fundamentals of reefing (like plumbing).
