When I put this same pump on my 180 this Spring, I will have about 5 to 6 x DT/sump turnover as well. My DIY sump/fuge consists of Skimmer, and massive Chaeto area. My 180's sump will be my current 125DT.

And if you have a refugium in between drain/skimmer and return chamber you don't want a hurricane in there.

Any update on the Jebao? What size pump would you think is appropriate for a 90g using a 40breeder sump? I'm splitting the return to feed the fuge and maybe one day a reactor or 2 (but for now, no reactors!). I'll also be using an apex if that matters.
I sure wish the pump decision was more straight forward!!! |
