Gem Tang Questions
Is a Gem Tang likely to have problems with: a yellow tang, chevron tang, or pyramid butterfly fish? That is, will these fish disallow insertion into their environment (either a 220 or 350 gallon) Thanks in advance.

snorvich,
Thank you for your post. There is a possibility if you add the Gem Tang into a large tank such as a 220 or 350 with plenty of hiding spaces; it may be compatible with a Yellow or Chevron Tang already housed in your tank. However, since each fish will have there own personality and aggression level, we would not be able to guarantee that a Gem Tang would acclimate well into a tank that already contains other Tangs. When adding multiple Tangs to an aquarium, we recommend adding them at the same time to possibly help reduce any aggression between the fish. Gwen S. LiveAquaria Drs. Foster and Smith |
