Sca 66 return pump.
Has anybody replace the return pump on their SCA 66. If so what pump did you use I think mine's coming up on a replacement I had the stock Atman 2500. I think the flow rate on that was pretty good nice and slow so I want to keep it about the same.
Thanks in advance John |

I had the same return on my SCA 50g "cube", and I replaced mine with a Sicce Syncra 1.5 as I did not need the flow from the Atman, and it was a bit loud (actually tried a Syncra 2.0 first, and it was too much). The Atman is now used to pump new saltwater during water changes. The Sicce is very quiet (some of the larger models have been reported to be occasionally noisy, but not the smaller models), reliable, and smaller in physical dimensions (in case you need the room).
I actually have Syncra 1.5's running 4 of my aquariums: pair of 40B's, 45g "frag" tank, and the SCA 50g. Never have had an issue over multiple years (4+), and I still have the backup sitting unopened in its original box.
