What's growing on my hammer coral?
It looks like there's two different things growing on my coral: the red, coral-shaped thing and the sponge-like thing. The sponge-like thing is growing on my zoas too. Any clue what they are? Should I try to get rid of them?

Will the sponge choke out the coral? How would I kill it? Just take the coral out of the water for a second? I know some types of sponge die instantly when exposed to air.
Can you tell what the red thing is? I don't think it's cyano because of the way it grows. |

Little clearer picture would help. It's tough to ID without an infocus pic.
The sponge will be fine, just leave it be. It will not choke out the coral.
