Good looking tank. I had that light on my Nuvo 16 and it worked great.
I ran it on the M1 setting which is 100 white and 100 blue but I changed it to 80/80. I kept a Neon green stylophora with that light with no issues whatsoever.

these Red Sea Max tanks are only 18" deep . the Current Led fixture is fine for softies and some less picky SPS up top on the rockwork . not going to have a full blown sps system with one of them , but for the price and the light it puts out , you can have a heck of a softie tank . I have the 24-36" fixture and it fit in the Canopy prefect , like it was make for that reto . pretty happy with it ! and at that price when it starts going bad , throw it out and get a new one.

LED lighting
I really like your tank. I have a 130D and am considering adding the current orbit. Couple of questions.
Was it worth it? How did you install? Are you happy with it? Anything you would have done different? Look forward to your insights and maybe a pic of the LED install. Thanks! Beautiful tank! |

Hi there, how do you secure the orbit marine into the hood?
Any updates on the tank? Would love to see how the corals are doing. I am running a rsm250 and have considered the 36 inch orbit marine. |
