Suggestions: how would YOU stock a 150 tall?

I have my stock list already, but I'm curious as to how others would do it, maybe give me some ideas I hadn't thought of. I'm talking total stock, inverts and all. Thanks in advance. BTW I will be keeping Coral so ideas on what kinds are appreciated as well.

You literally have the options to put just about whatever you want in a 150 tall. So my suggestion is the entire ocean.

48" x 24" x 30" tall?

For some reason, I like stocking threads...

I would do:
2 royal gramma
yellow tail damsel
starry blenny
orchid dottyback
mandarin
pink/blue spot goby
longnose hawk
melanurus wrasse

You want a few big fish or a bunch of small ones? Are we keeping bite sized inverts?

I want a mix of small/large fish. I know I want a flame angel, (I know I have to take caution because they can nip at corals) and a kole eye and yellow tangs, my list looks like this:

Tang (yellow)
Tang (Kole yellow eye)
Yellowtail blue dmsl x5 (cycle)
Purple dottyback x1
Flame angelfish
Clownfish X2
Chromis x10
Red cardinalfish x5
Zebra barred dart fish x3

Inverts, etc:
Starfish
Snails x30

I like the way this list looks and they are all reef-safe.

tang (kole yellow eye) fine, but i would pick one tang for a 4ft tank. It may work, but maybe not. I had a yellow kill a powder brown in my 125.
yellowtail blue dmsl x5 (cycle) removing after cycle?
purple dottyback x1 probably fine. An orchid would be better/more peaceful
flame angelfish fine
clownfish x2 fine
chromis x10 i think you will be disappointed with the end result of this. You will almost surely end up with 1-3
red cardinalfish x5 not sure...cardinals aren't my bag
zebra barred dart fish x3 same with cardinals. Do two pair off and kill the other one?

hth

I don't want them to kill each other. Also, the damsels I put in for cycling, I guess however many live through the cycle will stay in the tank.

You really shouldn't use damsels (or any fish) to cycle a tank. It's cruel and unnecessary....
