Which lights make coral grow more?

Is it the Blue lights or the white lights that make corals grow?

or is it together they grow?

If I had to guess I'd say blue does nothing but make them look amazing and the white makes them grow but also makes algae grow?

what's the point of increasing the intensity of blues if they don;t make them grow? or do they? lol sorry i'd just really want to know the functions of the 2

Ihave the viparspectras chinese lights for a week now and at 10% blues 10 % whites.. going to up it to 20 % blues and 15% whites... just not sure where to go after that...

Once they are fully ramped up, most of the people have blues between 80-100% and whites anywhere from 25-60%

If you want really long and technical answer to which light (blue/white/etc) make corals grow, using science and so on, grab a drink and start reading this: https://www.advancedaquarist.com/2012/10/aafeature

If you search around RC, this topic has been discussed quite often, and there are many views on it. Read up and make your own judgment in the end.
