Radion Problem

I have a G2 Pro that has been working fine for a couple of years. Today I come home and it's not on and the red LED is blinking at the buttons. I rebooted it thru EcoSmart Live, and it stays on for 45 minutes to an hour, then does it again.

Buttons are disabled, I just unplugged it for about 15 minutes, powered it back up, went into EcoSmart Live and made sure the buttons are disabled in there, clicked on program aquarium.......and I'm waiting to see how it does.

Any ideas?
Any fix?

I really hate to have to buy a new one at this time of year, but I also need lights on the tank.

Thanks for any help.

Steve

That was my first thought...........and the fan is running.

I'm going to remove it from my hood this afternoon and take it apart for a good cleaning just in case............but it didn't feel hot to the touch at all.

Gave it a good cleaning, wasn't that bad.
Put it back together, powered it up..........lasted about 15 minutes.

Looks like it's going to Ecotech for some repair work, and I might as well upgrade to G3pro clusters while it's there.

That happened to mine. It ended up being the UV LEDs/channel that burned out. I reprogrammed the lights and turned all the UV off, and it's been working fine otherwise ever since.

Yup, I'm thinking that's what it is with mine too.
When I had it out of my hood, I was playing with it and the UV's were not working.

It's back at Ecotech now, going to upgrade to the G3pro clusters and have them go thru it.
