what is the Best Nano Skimmmer?

I just setup a 20 gallon JBJ rimless tank and I wanted to get some insight on a good skimmer?

That might help. I don't have alot of experience with nano skimmers tho. All my nano tanks have been run skimmerless. It helps I keep my bio loads very light and prefer shrooms zoas and a few softies

I have heard nothing but good things regarding the CAD Lights PLS50 Elite. I was going to go with a Remora C Nano, but, a lot of users complain that they are noisy.

I have used the Aquaticlife 115, its ok.. I also had the JNS VS1, great skimmer, but, stuck out like a sore thumb.

I can't say any thing bad about the aquaticlife 115 skimmer. It's a great little skimmer for its size. Little finicky about water level, but it works great and pulls some really nasty skimmate from my biocube.

From toying with the AL115 and a Tunze 9001, the 9001 is MUCH more finnicky about water level, pulls less skimmate (and no dry skimmate compared to AL115). The nice things about the Tunze were it's silence (air sucking and motor), and the simple magnet mount.

I've been contemplating "repurposing" the Tunze 9001 air silencer for the AL 115 to see if it quiets the air sound down. The pump noise... not sure what to do about that...

I've had great luck with a Tunze 9004 in a high bio load 29g standard. No sump.

I have the pls 100 on my 27 gallon cube with mods. its a freaking beast skimmer.

The cad lights pls-100 pipeless skimmer is 4.75 x 4.75 footprint and rated for 100 gallons low bioload 65 gallons heavy bioload.
best skimmer with smallest footprint fits inside my ten gallon sump. I also modded the skimmer cut off the small amount of pipr from the tube and then I rapped fishing line around the needle wheel impeller.

Best skimmers for nano with a ten gallon size sump I couldn't fit anything better

if you have a sump, the H&S 110 is a great skimmer

Nobody mentioned it, and I haven't run it, but it's worth noting that the Deltec MCE300 and MCE600 are both older but I guarantee still punch above their weight class.

I would say the best nano I have ever had was the Warner marine H1. Unfortunately Warner doesn't make skimmers anymore. I wish he would come back.
