Reliable Products?
Hello! I'm wanting to build a 20 gallon rimless tank, and I'm just wondering if there's any specific good yet inexpensive glass producer/silicone producer etc? I can find the instructions but can't seem to find anything to recommend it? Also, when you buy the glass do you have to still cut it for it to actually fit? Thanks

Momentive RTV103 or RTV108 are commonly used silicone products. You can find it on Amazon or industrial suppliers like grainger.
Glass is usually purchased locally from a glass supplier. Find a few in your area and get quotes, the cost can vary significantly (quotes for my last project ranged by several hundred percent). When you buy glass, make sure you understand the edge treatment. When fresh cut, the edges will be rough and very sharp. At the least you want the edges eased so they're not dangerously sharp. For a rimless it's common to get them ground flat and beveled so they look nice and neat on the exposed edges at the top of the tank.
