Zweebe's "Millenium Falcon" Reef from Belgium
Hello Guys,
Some years ago, I was starting the reefing with a lot of passion, which is still there today and bigger ! My main tank was a 120x80x55 which was published on an other US/Worldwide wellknown forum facebook page, some of you may already see it: some months ago, I got a copper problem because of my calcium reactor pump... I've tried during some months to get it back on track, but there was still some problems left. So I've decided to restart it with a better vision thanks to my experience during those past years ! The tank is about to get back to life this week and I wanna share with you the evolution and equipment features during those next months ! So here it is: Tank size: 120x80x55cm / 47x31x21" Sympa size: 108x54x40 / 42x12x16" RO/DI tank: 80L / 21g Skimmer: Nyos Quantum 220 Return pump: Sicce Syncra SDC 9.0 Flow pump: 2x Ecotech Vortech MP40W QD Reactor: Deltec FR509 (Carbon) Zeolite reactor: Fauna Marin Zeomatic 2.2 Calcium Reactor: Dastaco T2 Heater/Cooling: Teco TK1000 Lighting: DIY 14x54w T5 (4 are E5 Blue Pop!) Control: APEX 2016 + WXM Module + ATK + Energy Bar 6 Other: Ecotech Battery Back-up Here is some picture during the total rebuild before the launch ! A bit rusty ! Let's clean it with acids and paint up ! Work goes well, first element to hide the sump are placed. Electrical power is there too ! The tank is placed ! |

Sweet build, and yes that scape looks so much like the millenium falcon haha! I think you must acquire a frag of JKR Boba fet tenius and WWC Yoda Acro to fit the theme ; )

Hey guys,
Thanks for your messages and yours compliments. The skimmer is still off because it still produce too much foam, I guess it's because of Nitrites which is start to up and the new water... Hope it will works properly during the week ! Yesterday, I've set the APEX and configure the EB8 to manage different stuff: - Zeomatic: the big pump is working every 2 hours during 2 minutes. - Lighting: Light on at 12:00 and light off at 22:00. - Skimmer: Off when the return pump is off and On 3 minutes after the return pump is back on. - Heater: keep the temp between 25.5 and 26 °C I've also set the WXM Module and configure the two MP40W QD based on the WWC 2 Pump Program with Constant and Reefcrest modes. I'm pretty happy with the flow for the moment, will see if everythings is ok when livestock will be there If I have enough time today, the Dastaco will be plug and configured If you guys have some advices of somethings else which can help me, don't hesitate |
