Anyone running a SFILIGOI Stealth T5 HQI fixture.
I am looking for anyone who might be running the 8x80 with 3x150 MH fixture.
http://www.aquaticselite.com/Product...HQ3%2D150%2D80 I wanted to get some feedback as to what anyone's thoughts are that have this fixture. Pro's and Con's. Yea, i know the price is a con, but what in this hobby is cheap. Anyway, if you have one, please post some comments and pics if you have them and tell me what you think. |

I don't have one, but that doesn't change the fact that I like them. The T5's may not be as good as ATI, but they are no slouch. The reflectors for the 150's are a very good design and spread the light out very well. I would opt for the HQI ballast instead of the electronic one, it makes a difference with 150's. I have always loved their stuff ever since I saw my first one, but I will probably never have one, not because of the price alone, but because the value isn't there, you can get the same or better results with a lot less investment, but they are one sexy fixture.

My issue is I need a fixture to hang over the tank. The tank is going to be 72x30x22 and rimless. I want a 5' fixture and I really don't like the look of ATI. This fixture is more expensive but is sexy as hell.
My plan was to use the following ballast with radium bulbs. http://www.aquacave.com/150W-Reeflex...P2189C208.aspx I think it's the best bang for the buck. Opinions...... |

I usually run that ballast and highly recommend it. Your plan is solid and well thought out, be sure and post some drool worthy pics of the fixture. IMO it has the best reflectors of any fixture, the only way to get better is with individual pendants but they would never have that look that the Sfiligoi has.
