Tank Brand Recommendations

Been out of the game for a while and finally have a residence I can do another tank in.

While I could go all out and do a larger tank, may be moving out of State in a few years, so a smaller one it is, (35-65 Gallons)

I'm currently looking at the Red Sea Reefer tanks, but remember the Elos was all the rage when I was getting out.

I'm looking for more of a "system" this time rather than piece it all together, but would prefer a higher end brand that isn't junk.

Currently looking at the Red Sea Reefer 170 or 250, it has some cool features that weren't around a few years ago.

Thoughts?

Check Waterbox Aquariums, all sides low iron glass.
Seems Red Sea took the place of Elos and lots of people like them; they are beautifully constructed.

Loving my Red Sea Reefer 250. Great quality. Plug and play system. If you get the deluxe version it comes with dual Aquailluminations Hydra 26 HD wifi leds. All you would need is a return pump. Most people choose Varios 6 or the Vectra M1. Ohhh and can’t forget the skimmer and heater and controller and....man this adds up quick! Lol Goodluck!

Red sea does look nice. I'm looking at a crystal dynamics tank for my next build so I can get the dimensions I want. I can't completely vouch for one complete system versus another as of yet because I've always pieced tanks together. If your in a budget I'd look at crystal dynamics or sca. If you want something fancy look at red sea or elos. I personally think cadlights is cheap and have poor customer service.

Thanks everyone, I have some of my old equipment to get me started. Even have a pair of Radium 250SE's and a dual Galaxy Ballast, and my old Euroreef Skimmer to get me going.

BRS just did a video on the 250, nice looking setup. May give it or one of the Peninsula tanks a try.....too bad they don't have a 90g cube....

Glad to see I'm not the only one that held onto the Radium bulbs and ballasts.
