Will Red Cyano spread if scrubbed in tank?
I have a spot of red cyano on a rock that I can't remove from the tank to clean. Is it a bad idea to scrub the cyano off of that rock in the tank? Will it cause the cyano to spread everywhere quicker?

It would be better to suck it out but scrubbing won't hurt anything. If it's a small spot just leave it alone and see if it goes away. That often happens.

Yep just suck it out during your next water change..
"best" to just get it out of the tank completely.. Typically it seems that cyano is in that specific area for a reason and disturbing it doesn't seem to cause it to "thrive" somewhere else where it doesn't have the same conditions...
