Rose bubble tip anemone Question

We have Rose BTA for going on 3 weeks. She has positioned herself at the top of our tank near the overflow. She seems pretty happy there. About once a day she will suck the air out of herself and the tentacles will shrivel up all the way where they look like silly string. But after a little while she re-inflates herself and all is well. She is eating fine, we feed her 1 silverside head every other day. Is this normal for BTA to do, the schriveling up thing?

pooping? rebalancing water (inside)? mine did the same thing almost at the same time every day, and then would shrivel up at night. after i got new lights and better flow, he stopped doing it at night but still deflates to poop.

Hi,try not feeding for a few days or a week & see if the shrivelling stops. If it does, then as lovethereefer stated,it is probably just expelling waste.HTH
