Original thread started by fishman805 on 7/11/05

This thread was automatically split due to performance issues. You can find the rest of the thread here: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...93#post8866993

I apologize, in my attempt to move the videos to this thread, I inadvertantly deleted the added posts from this point.

It appears that all of you that subscribed to this thread lost your subscriptions. Hopefully you'll find the thread again and everyone that posted to it since the split, will re-post. I checked into getting the thread restored from back-up tape and it is just too difficult.

Our apologies! Debi was trying an experiment to help me deal w/ the growing list of reef video links and the limit on the text that can be in any single post. Each time the thread splits, it creates a hassle.

The experiment had unexpected and unhappy results, but here's the new plan: this thread (if it gets going again) will be for all your reef video discussion and links. The organized listing of all reef video links will move to a separate thread that I can easily add to. That thread will be sticky'd and locked. All of the links posted in this thread will get copied into the "Reef Video Links" thread. How does that sound?

That sounds like an excellent solution. Now what we might need people to do is report any dead links if the videos are no longer available.

Greta idea! If you PM me w/ the dead links, I'll take care of them as soon as I can.

Glad to find this thread still going, though I had to look for it for awhile

So we brought home a long spined urchin a few days ago. Was hoping it would munch on some of the getting-to-be-nuisance macroalgae, but so far the urchin has only eaten coralline and rock

We've been playing "find the urchin" during the day with the monster Christmas gift flashlight. Heck, we play "find the urchin" at night with the flashlight, too

Yesterday, the urchin was roaming around way after the halides went on and I got some footage of it....

(320 x 240 pixels, 4.5 MB, :59 minutes)

Last night, it was on the front glass, so out came the camera again....

Enjoy!

Is it possible to use any of these vids on a stream loop to show the public what can be done with a little creativity?
I need something to fill my dead time for my stream on cam streams? If possible let me know anxiously waiting. Swift

2swift,

I think you should be more specific in your request. Which particular videos would you like to use?
