Hooking up a float valve

I have one of your RO/DI system with the faucet attachment. This comes with the auto shutoff and auto flushing kit. The way I have it hooked up right now is right out of the final DI stage there is a valve. Can I just run that hose to my sump and get one of your float valve to control my top off? Someone was saying that you're not suppose to leave the unit uder pressure cause it can ruin the membrane. But what is the difference between this and what I current have which is filling up the bladder tank?

thanks,

No problem for the membrane to remain under pressure. The danger zone is salt creep in your sump on a float valve. This can result in a flood or dilution of your system and death of your prize corals and critters.
