nanocube algae

howdy peeps! i've had my cube running for 3 months and im getting huge algae blooms. the weird thing is that they only occur between 8am and 5pm. if the lights are on the algae will cover the rocks and sand. if the lights are off the algae will turn the water clody brown and not grow on rocks and sand. PLEASE HELP PEOPLE!!!

The tank is new and is going through very typical algae blooms. It should go away if you keep your water params up and continue to use RO/DI water. I'd advise as much if you aren't already. You might want to run some carbon in there if you think the water is slightly discolored. Test for your nitrates and phosphates and let us know what they read.
