ricordia mushroom help asap

Hi i but my orange flordia ricordia mushroom about 2 weeks ago and the past few days there has been brown slime coming out of the middle of it i need help fast is it dying and can i get rid of it will it survive help asap thanks

Ricordia require a lot of light, it could be bleaching due to insuficient light. Move it as high as possible.

the brown stuff is zooanthellae, which provide the rics with the majority of their energy, hence it is a sure sign of declining health. High Light and good feeding can potentially save them.
