Photosynthetic Gorgonians

I'm thinking of getting some of your photosynthetic gorg.
Do you think they will do well in a 30g (20x20x20) with a 96W PC light? Thanks.

Bidadari,

Thank you for providing information on your lighting and the size of your aquarium. Lighting requirements for Gorgonians are either moderate or high depending upon which species you select. A general guideline for moderate light is 3-5 watts of light per gallon. You may want to consider increasing your lighting and provide high water flow for optimal health.

I have a nonphotosynthetic Gorgonian and my biggest challange is keeping it clean of alage which impedes its ability to grow and extend its polyps. If you are concerned about your lighting requirements you might wnat to try one of these, as they don't demand light but they do reuire being kept clean and feeding is based on filter feeder foods.

The kind I have :

I'm not brave enough to get the non-photosynthetic one. They're extremely hard to keep alive & healthy so I've heard & read.
