Supposed new Sigma LONG glass
You want long zoom? How about 200-500mm at f/2.8?
Check out this beast coming out from Sigma supposedly. I hate to think about the support system needed for this thing!!! http://www.dpreview.com/news/0703/07...ma200500mm.asp

OMG...that's one huge lens. Check out the size of that SLR connected to the end of it. The Sigmonster (300-800mm) lens is big and heavy, but this thing looks like a true backbreaker.
Can't even imagine the price for that sucker.

My tripod is not worthy. No, literally. It would probably collapse under that kind of weight.
![]() Any bets on what this one will be called? We already have the Bigma and a Sigmonster, should we call this one the BigMonster? Bigma II?

Well if it's ONLY $7,000.....that's actually kind of cheap if it can really deliver on the promises.
Where a pic of the Nikon or Canon 1200mm lenses that are 3 feet long when you need one?
