What is a used aquastar midi worth?
I bought this used from a fellow reefer about 8 months ago. I have been using it for controlling lights primarily. I really dont need it for my application. I was wondering if anyone out there has one and knows what the go for used?

Thanks for the interest guys! The problem is the cost... I paid $400, the temp probe and the ph probe need to be replaced, so deduct that. $80 or so, that makes this around $300? yay or nay?
I am not looking to sell in this thread. only figure a price. a seperate thread will be started for selling. Rc rules, ya know. OR trade for a jbj chiller 1/3 1/4 |

Ouch,
That be a bit steep considering you can get the aquacontroller for less then that. Does this do more then the AQuacontroller? Ant eAC for that price would have the DC8 (eight outlets vs the four that your has) I wish you well in getting what you need to out of this deal. Bill |

I will look into what this does compared to the aqua controller. I will be negotiable as well.
thanks for your input though. |

Nevermind everybody. the price for the ph and temp electrode are $312 and $265......Whoa! I am just going to use it for a light timer/wave maker. I already have a pinpoint ph controller and a dual stage temp controller anyway. Friggian expensive german products!

i would bet taht you could use any temp and pH device, as from what I read they are all the same as far as how they work
Calibration is what you would have to deal with and I am fairly sure that machine would have calibration subroutines... Bill And those Germans are still trying to raise money to pay all those jewish families... |
