Pictures with Sony Cybershot
I don't know much at all about photography and I have a cheap Sony Cybershot. Is there any way to take good pictures with my camera. I am so impressed by the photos I see in some of these threads!
I have a 200 gallon tank so the glass is fairly thick. I have (3) 400 watt 14K metal halides with (4) 96 watt actinics. Is it better to take pictures with all my lights on? I have tried to attach a few of my better pictures. Hopefully, they aren't too bad since I had to resize them to under 50k bytes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

1- use a tripod
2- use your macro if you have it 3- try not to use the flash that's what i have been told other then that someone else needs to step in because i'm still learning being that i just got my new camera today i have lots to learn about this subject to. but thought i would help out as much as i could.

Not to steal your thread but here are some photos of my tank with my sony cybershot DSC V1
![]() ![]() ![]() A macro setting changes the focus of the camera so it can focus on very close objects. The macro setting on the DSC V1 is on the right button of the directional pad, the flower. There is also a macro lens you can get for the Cybershot although I have not tried it yet.
