To creep where no (salt) creep has creeped before!

I've got an aquaclear HOB on my 20 Hex tank, and I appear to be getting salt creep underneath the filter. This perplexes me, as it's one solid sheet curving over the lip and I'm getting creep directly under the outflow down the back of the glass. What gives? How is this even possible?

Depends on how much splashing is going on. I've had salt creep under my Aquaclear before. Maybe the water level in your tank is too low. Or, maybe your AC has a leak.
