Dropped bag of Baking Soda in top off. Okay to use still?
My new 5 pound bag of Arm and Hammer fell into my 40gal top off container which contains salt water. It was there for a few hours but the baking soda now is very damp. Can I reuse it still? I was hoping I could reuse it after baking it

I would say yes you could still use it. Just bake it thoroughly.

It should be OK to use but will be contaminated with seasalt. When you use it test it first in warm water to make sure it dissolves properly, especially after baking it.

Top off that contain saltwater? weird
Should be fine, don't bake it unless you want to turn it in washing soda. You should still dry it.

I'll start baking it in the oven tonight. Hopefully it works since I hate to throw 5 pounds of new baking soda away. |
