Got all my equipment and starting to build...

hey guys, Ive bought all my equipment for my tank want to start the build. If anyone is local (kendall) and would like to get involved i could sure use the help and experience. I am picking up my stand and canopy (w/ lights installed) today at noon and have the rest of the items at home (skimmer, pumps, etc). I have a sump (20 g) built already but depending on the space in my stand i may be able to fit a 29g and do a larger sump/fuge and in that case i will remove the baffles from my sump and place them in the new sump (old sump would become a QT). I could really use some help in the area of plumbing the system correctly and effectively. This is my 1st major project and being a novice i am affraid of goofing it up. If anyone is local in the area and wants to help out please PM me or even better give me a shout at 3053429597.

thanks guys a ton...

eddy

Welcome to the club and to the realm of reefing!

Let me make a suggestion and tell you that if you can fit a larger sump under your tank, do it before everything gets rolling. Get the largest sump you can fit. It's a PITA to replace a sump once the tank is setup, and you may have to settle for a smaller one later to fit it between doors or something like that.

Good luck and let us know how it's all going
