A spawn is sexual reproduction, the anemone spits out sperm or eggs. When an anemone splits in half, it is asexual reproduction

If the milky substance looks like smoke coming out of the mouth and there are no tiny eggs, then you have a male. Host anemones are either male or female. What kind of anemone is it? My BTAs are all males and spawn just after the lights go out every few months.

not really sure what kind of anemone it is . It's pinkish orange when it's all fanned out , but when its sucked in it has green tips. I got the tank from a good freind , it was all established.

There are some pics of my RBTA in my gallery. If you put a pic on here, someone will likely be able to accurately identify it for you. The fact is, if it is spawning, it is most likely in good shape.
