Streams power backup
Hi Roger I hooked up 7095 and 2 streams 6101.
I was wondering how to add the Tunze power outage module and a 12V battery. It looks like I could do with just one, in that case does the battery take over and power 1 of the streams plus the 7095 controller. Since the controller apparently draws power via the DIN cable off the junction box of the stream? Would the stream be also become more like 6000 since it has 12V supply when power is out... and continue to pulse or do intervals (even with one pump). |

It would have the lower flow of a 6000 but would remain controllable.

Hi Roger what is DC draw of the 6101 off 12V battery? Is it still like 36W so would that be something like 12V @ 3 AMPS?
So a 100 Amp.Hour 12V battery would give me like 33 hour of run time? |

At 12V it would use only about 15W. It is very diifficult to exactly calculate run time but I would say it should safely run for 24hrs, you always have losses due to wiring, humidity, start up draw, etc.
