How large is the fish and how large is the anemone. If you feed the fish first, until it is full, then will it still take the anemones food? What are your water parameters? Generally LTA's are sticky enough to hang on to the food. Any pics?

the fish is about 2 in. the lta is about 7 when fully open ...yes even when the fish eats first this still happens ...but the fish does not eat the silverside just takes it and moves it to some where else in the tank

mine did this up until yesterday but i have a RBTA instead. first i would put some food in at the complete opposite end of the tank. and then fed the nem. the funny thing is though that as of today he is now feeding the nem and i now dont have to feed fish on the other side off the tank

Sounds like the anemone is plenty big. Is the food fresh? The reason I ask is that my anemones seem to grab on more tightly to fresh food and food that I haven't fed in a few days. They seem less eager to take silversides if I feed it say three times in a row.
