Wow, I am pleased!! I had a terrible outbreak of hair algae in my tank, so I bought a bunch more snails (mainly large turbo), a Yellow Tang, and a lettuce nudi-that was a week or so ago. They have eaten about 70% of it already!!
Success! The Tang was a bit of a gamble, since so many reefers told me they are hit and miss, and usually miss for hair algae-- he is a hit!! That tang munches on the HA all the time!! It's great! I am also using Seagel and chemipure elite in my canister filter, and doing small regular water changes to keep the nutrients down. It is all working very well together! I hit the HA with a blitzkreig!
