Picked up an aussie Acan hillae at a lfs a couple of days ago. right now its on the sand at the bottom of the tank and partly shaded by rock work. How much light do they require? The tank is a 180 gal, 24 in deep with 3 150W DE 14K halides and 4 80w T5s. I don't want to burn it or starve it.

Looks like a Moseleya and not a Hillae...
Nice though... I would leave it where its at for now, and then move it out into the light... I doubt you'll burn it under 150w MH's in a 24" deep tank...

Its fine where it is. I keep mine under 150's and it didn't like alot of light.
