Koralia 3 pump
So last spring I bought a Koralia 3 and Koralia 4 pump from MarineDepot and they seemed to work fine but by early summer things in my tank weren't doing so good so I removed them thinking the flow was causing issues. 2 days ago I put the Koralia 3 back in and last night while working in the tank I started getting shocked every time I touched water and the grounded light fixture.
I eventually tracked down the cause by unplugging things one at a time then seeing if I still got shocked (I don't recommend that method) - turns out it was the Koralia 3 pump. With a little bit of research last night I found that there was a recall on those pumps for just this reason - it's probably far too late for me to take advantage of the recall right? |
