Drip Detector !!!

Does any one know how to bypass the drip detector in the Kangaroo 324? It's photo-electric ( sensor on one side soldered to the circuit board and a LED on the other side the drip passes between these) I am not very electronically educated but i can solder.

I'm trying to mod my 224 but patching pins 6+12 didn't cut it.
