Another salt mix bites the dust

Well, another salt bites the dust.

Tested Sera today. I will not be adding it to my list.

Calcium 310

Alkalinity 3.5 dkh

I quit after that.

Whats strange is this stuff comes in sealed plastic bags and the salt had so much moisture in it, it was already clumping coming out of the bag.

I hope they do not sell it like this in Germany.

I'm very disappointed. Anyone want some salt..... cheap.......

How about taking another sample of that salt from a different part of the bag and re-testing the ca, that seems kinda low......or maybe you just got a dud bag?

Sera sells their salt in small sealed bags. 2 bags per box. Each bag is supposed to make about 5 gallons of saltwater. I purchased 3 boxes.

I will test one more box but if it comes out clumped like the first one did, I give up.

I'll just mix it with my other 8 salts I got and use it up.

I tested one other salt with an alk of 3.5 dkh. I didn't post that either.

These need to be posted as that show bad packing.

take a 55g drum a mix all 8 salt in it, that should be a great salt
