This is what happens when you invite Chuck Norris over for pancakes!!!!!!

So it took me two days to fill my entire system with RODI water, today I was putting live rock and sand in when I noticed a little surprise on the front left panel of my tank. It's about a 1/4 crack that just appeared from no where. I was happy today because I had sold my 56 gallon and I was $150 dollars closer to my new light for the new tank. Well now that 150 has to go toward a new tank. Life sucks sometimes, but on the bright side at least it happened now as opposed to when the tank was fully operational with fish and corals.

My parents have a reef ready 75 that they might part with. I dont know who much they want for it but I could find out for you.

I hate to see tanks crack but yours did at the best time.

You said it... Better now, than fully operational with fish and coral.

That sucks... If you need any help, let me know.

48x96x25 RR rimless starfire would fit well in that opening?

Well thanks for the help in searching for tanks but I picked one up today brand new for 150 bucks. Only problem is the trim is a little thicker than the oceanic which means I have to modify my opening in the wall a bit.

Cool, so you broke even on price with the 56 gallon. Is the new tank a 75 gallon as well?

There is a consignment sale at the end of the month that someone might want to buy that for a reptile or something. You could make a few $$.

Logik- Yeah I got another 75 just a different brand. I believe all glass. I have had one of these before it's not a bad tank.

Home Reef- I actually have a 6 ft red tail boa that needs a home, but I may not use this tank for that I'm not sure.

Ah man, I was just reading a thread where you were talking about your tank on that 150g with a leak. Now, just 2 days later yours! Man, if it wasn't so much of a coincidence I would say you burnt your bread. ( North County term)

I bumped it so someone could see a pic of the crack. And my bread is good now, I just scraped off all the crusty stuff.
