Well my jaw fish has gone MIA.It's been a couple days since I've seen him so I guess I have to get a new fish but I'm not sure on what to get.

Your set up rocks. No pun intented! May I ask how you made your backdrop? What is your materials list? And the stand is beautiful.

SaltwaterChris the pond foam you used is Handi-Foam Black Straw and Gun Foam-am I looking at the right product? About how much did it take to create your backdrop?

Did you use the foam to also adhere the live rock?

Carrie I only need 1 can for the back of my tank now depending on how big your tank is and other things thats all I used. The foam I got it on Dr. Foster & Smith.I just used the foam on the back, my rocks are just sitting on each other.Hope this helps any other ? fell free to ask.

Nice looking tank i wish i had done that with the background. Watch out for that shrimp they can be terrors when they are bigger than the fish. I think the jawfish are cool as long as you can get them to eat i had a similar fatality.

Thanks I think there was foul play with my jaw fish and the culprit is my sally light foot crab because another fish has become MIA and this time it's not a cheap one so I think he's going to have to go.

Saltwater Chris is that a frogspawn in your tank? Upper middle left hand corner in pic on this page If so what types of light are you running. I have the opprotunity to buy one for a pretty good price but I am unsure about proper lighting and the size of my tank. I have a 9 gal. with 48watt PC lighting. Will it survive in my setup or should I pass on it?

Currenlty in tank: 3lbs Live Rock and 15lbs sand
5crabs, 2 snails and on very small peppermint shrimp and percula clown in QT.

Did you stick with the stock pump or did you upgrade? If so what did you decide to use? I am not pleased with the flow on mine and would like to upgrade it like I did on my 12g.

Thanks
-Ian

Nice, the stand is pro. I like the tank - shame that you had to tear down the rock work to get that dang crab.
