false perc sudden death???
I've had my two false percs for over a year with no problems, no disease or anything. Yesterday, the bigger of the pair, wasn't able to swim well and was breathing hard, there was no spots or anything on the fish. Today the fish is missing, so i'm assuming its dead. All other fish in my tank are doing fine, my water was good, Nitrate was undetectable, ph 8.1, temp 78.5. The percs lived in a sebae anemone. Anybody ever experience sudden death? Could it be because the mass captive breedings these fish go through?

I have no idea why your fish died but it is not because of how she was raised.
