Breeding Span Inconsistency
My black ocellaris have just laid their 3rd batch and I was just wondering about the time frame. I have read that it is supposed to be 14 days between laying batches and the eggs hatch (~192 hours) 8 days after being laid(sp?) So far the eggs have been hatching on time but the clowns have been inconsitent in breeding. From the first batch it then took ~11 days before the next batch, and for this one it took 13 days. I am not concerned, but was just wondering how common this is?

It will fluctuate a couple days here and there based on how much food they get each day, disturbances in and outside the tank, etc. The more times they lay the more consistant the cycle becomes.
