photometer help

which one do i need hanna low or high range. are there any other brands that are good.

For a reef, you will need the low range. I like mine.

Hach makes a nice unit, as well. It's a lot more expensive, though.

I have a Martini Phosphate colorimeter. It is cheaper than the Hanna, and the parameters it reads are just like the Hanna. It is an Italian unit marketed by Milwaukee. You can check it out at eseasonsgear.com. They also have Hannas too, and shipping is free.
