OT-chirping smoke detector

The smoke detector chirps the same time in the morning for the past couple of days. It's not continues but about every 30 seconds or so. I changed the battery but still keeps waking me up. Any clue as to why?

You sure you have the right one? In our house we have one in every room. Their part of a central system and when the batteries are low in the one we think it is, it's sometimes the one close by. I usually change them all when one starts chirping. Just my experience.

Not connected to a security system and yes, it's the right one. It's in the fish room but nothing is on fire.

Maybe I need a new battery. That battery has been sitting in a drawer for a while.

Make sure a spider, or other small critter, hasn't set up camp in there and is triggering the sensor.
