WTB / Need Live Sand seed

I need some sand form an active tank with plenty of life to see my tank, will pay now with cash or later with frags. Would like a couple of cups worth. Willing to drive as far as St. Charles to pick it up tomorrow(Saturday).

I have black sand but it is not seeded yet. I plan on ordering some critters from IPSF and Inland Aquatics in a few weeks.

Well black sand wont match my brown and you havent even seeded your yet. Not trying to snap at you nook.

I don't see the need to spend $100 on something I can get from a local reefer or two maybe for free in terms of seeding the livesand.

Local seeding worked very well with the nano back in 05.

I have about 3 gal. of white sand from the gulf you can have.
Tank has been empty except for the sand for a couple of months. Still running the filter. I have been trying to sell my 75g. but no takers so I am about ready to take it down. I am in O'Fallon, Mo. Paul

Is the sand still in water and heated?

It is still in water. No heater but it is in an upstairs bedroom. Still some Kenya Tree frags in there. Paul

I don't think agra-alive will give you anything but some good bacteria, and I wouldn't even pay for it for that. A couple of cups of very live sand would work best IMO.
