Dosing part A and B
For the past year, I have been dosing just an additive for Calcium and Alk (Part A and B). I would really like the best growth and colors and would just like to know is one brand better than another (Brightwell vs. Ocean's Blend) and should i dose with something else besides just A and B. My tank is a 24g SPS/LPS and do weekly water changes. Thanks in advance.

I'd stick with Ocean's Blend. Not only is it balanced, it doesn't have all the other baggage ("trace elements") in it. The best growth and colors, however, don't have much to do with it. Just keeping the Ca and Alk levels up and stable makes all the difference. Low nutrients, good light, and water motion all help, too.

JMO, but i'm not a big fan of Ocean's blend. It just seems kinda watered down. When i switched to Aqua-c, it took less additives to keep my parameters consistent. Again, no disrespect to Ocean's blend, JME.
