Interesting, this is probably your longest, most detailed post since joining the board (which, BTW is less than 90 days ago, making you ineligible to sell here).
I notice people that come to RC for no reason other than to unload their unwanted crap on our members, and I'm pretty sure you're one of them.
I won't shut this thread down for the two or three days you're short of 90, but I will take interest in what your next few posts are, perhaps a lot more than just the next few.

Sorry DgenR8 if my post offended you. I have been a member for just short of 90 days but I have been reading the site for almost a year. I do read alot but since I am still a newbie don't respond as much. The posts that I have some knowledge on I do offer my best but most subjects I know little of.

Also I do not feel that the stuff I am trying to get rid of is junk. It was new half a year ago and is in excellent shape. I wanted to discount it enough so people that want to get in the hobby can get the stuff for a reasonable price. And based on the responses I have already recieved others agree.

Again not to get off subject, but as with all moderators I appreciate the time and effort you put in. Without your moderation most of these post would neither be informative or productive. If you feel that you are bending the rules too much to allow the sale then I take absolutely no offense to you pulling my post.

Thanks again.

Ken

Ken,
I can vouch for Ken being a decent guy and not selling lots of used equipment as he has not been in the hobby for that long.
Sorry to see your stuff get flamed as junk!
Perhaps some of us don't have the same funds as others. Such a shame a mod would slam someones stuff as being junk.
I guess unless you have thousands of posts you are a nobody. This type of attitude from a mod disgusts me. Perhaps MrCrab was right about RC afterall.
Goodluck selling Ken

sflorlando,
I'll let your post stand, and I'd not only like to see you prove me wrong, I'd be more than willing to admit it if you do.
I deal with a lot of people on this board who's intentions are not good, and I've learned to pick up on certain patterns.
I'm not infallible, but I'm pretty good.

gwrench,
There are other boards out there, perhaps you can find one where you won't be disgusted by the staff?
Keep in mind that I'm not frequenting this forum because I love Orlando. My presence here was brought on by an apparent lack of will to adhere to the rules of the board that provides this forum FREE OF CHARGE for your club to use.
The sooner the people that use this forum come to the realization that there are rules here, the sooner the "overbearing Mod" will begin to loosen his grip.
So, let me lay it all out on the table. I am subscribed to this forum. I get an email for EVERY new thread in this (as well as other problem) forum(s). I will continue to monitor this forum until such time as I don't feel a need to do so. I get the feeling that you're probably going to delay my departure, George.

Zappa's dead, and I see it as the kind of thing that if you (not you specifically, but a general you) need it explained, you wouldn't understand, anyway.

Thank you George and DgenR8,

DgenR8
You are right to be suspecious about my intentions. I just got past my 50 posts and am not yet to my 90 days. You have every right to follow the rules and close my post.

As my knowledge increases I would like to participate and be as helpful as George is. George, Juice, skinny joe and others that subscribe to this forum spend all their weekends helping out newbies like me, wanting nothing more in return than the advancement of the hobby.

Now lets get this back on subject, I want another Vortech!

Did I mention that the lights are 8 x 54 watts.

I wouldn't understand you are probably right, as Zappa never was appealing to me. Out of respect I would think you would at least post the original authors name as I did for Thoreau.
Keep up the good work
G
