Question on Upgrade kit

Hi Tim,

What is the different between Vortech Wireless Wave Driver Upgrade Kit (MP40 to MP40W) and Vortech Wireless Wave Driver MP20 to MP40W Upgrade Kit?

Can be vice versa use for either MP20 or MP40?

The MP20 to MP40w upgrade kit includes a power supply. Purchasing a WWD alone will not upgrade an MP20 to an MP40w as you will still require the MP40w power supply for the pump to function.

Hi Tim,

Is the power supply integrated inside the circuit board? or are you refering to power adapter?

thanks.

The power supply is the black box that transforms the AC current from your wall to the 24v DC current that the pump requires. There is a different power supply for the MP40w and MP20 and the MP20 power supply will not work on the Wireless Wave Driver.

So you meant that the wireless upgrade drivers are the same for both MP40W & MP20 except the 24 VDC adapter which has a different current(AMP). MP40W DC adapter has a high amp than MP20.

Am i right?

James.
