Will this epoxy be safe? PC-Marine

I got some of this stuff today at ace harware. Would it be reef safe? I read where some is and some isn't. Check it out.

Thanks

i believe that it is. i got some at the local hardware store about a week ago and used almost a whole stick of it to fix an overflow on a 210 gallon tank. the skimmers went nuts for about an hour or so, but other than that, there wasnt any effects to the inhabitants that i could observe. i have lots of little swimming larvaes, stomatella snails, limpets, amhipods, corals, bristle worms, even a few flat worms here and there. they are all still there.

Cool sounds like it'll work. Why be careful about to much?

Is this the same thing you and your club use?

The main thing you want to look for is 'safe for Potable water'... I use the same brand, but a different product, I believe it's the "PC plumbing"

i would assume jdolores was referring to the same fact i was... if you use a lot, it will make your skimmer go nuts and overflow for a while.
