With the possible exception of iron (FeIII), I don't see any need to dose any trace elements to a reef tank. From the analyses done, most salt mixes appear to already have normal to significantly elevated concentrations of various trace elements.

The only thing I use for trace / more for other purposes is seachem reef plus. The stuff is STELLAR and ALL my softies and LPS respond noticeably to it! Give it a go, 2L of the stuff is cheap.

I would agree. Not needed.
