Gary, I hope your frag swap goes well. Maybe next year Don and I can join you with our own table. We are waiting for our frag tank to be delivered.

Cool.

Harry,

I think it's going to be a closer to game time decision. It depends on whether or not the swap room is rented that day. If it ends up not being rented, I think we'll be able to get in Friday night. I'll see if Ken knows any more.

I'll be there.

We're all set for anyone who wants to set up on Friday. They blocked the room for us, so it's all ours Friday and Saturday.

There's an Outback steakhouse next to the Drury. Anyone up for dinner Friday night?

You have to ask that?

BTW Ken, I just had the pleasure of talking with your daughter who made a room reservation for my wife and I.

Harry - she said you'd called. She was a little embarrassed no one else knew what the room was reserved for. You'd think they had never done a frag swap before . Hope you enjoy the room - it's a pretty nice place.

Wife and I will be there. She has that w/e off, so you know. New to the reef scene, but my 125 is ready for some life. Will be looking for softies, lps, and any thing else that peaks our interest. By the way how do you join the club? Dues, meetings, need info on what is expected.

Hurrah! Just found out. My husband and I plan on attending. Wish I knew how to frag some of my zoa's from inside the tank. They are on large ledge rocks and have almost completely covered them.

Awesome.

Seawizard,

Right now, we are just trying to pull together people to make the club big enough to be a club. No dues or anything have been discussed yet, but with sponsorship coming from a LFS and more interest in general in the club, we'll start working towards something more concrete. As for meetings, we've been having monthly meetings and I'd like to continue doing so. Generally, you'd meet at a new person's house every month so you can see different set ups and livestock. That was a lot of the fun in the club in Nashville. A short topic and some food and conversation amongst other reefgeeks is a general description of a meeting.

NaclH20freak-

If you can remove the rocks, what I do is take a hammer and chisel (small sized chisel, depending on what I'm cutting), and give it a good whack between some polyps in the general area you want to pop off. I'll usually take whole peice of rock off.

If removing isn't an option, or you don't want to chip up the rocks (not a major problem, but over time, the rock shrinks), you can carefully slice them from the rock with a razor or Xacto type blade. If you get close enough to the rock, you can usually get them to glue without detaching (but many detach). Super glue gel from Dollar General works great for me for all but the slimiest.

Hey Draco-I was wondering where you were. How are the things you got from me?

Thanks for the info. Rocks are to big and would destroy aquascape. Will try your advice.
