MP40W & Elos 120XL
Currently, I have one MP40W with the battery backup. I was planning on purchasing another MP40W and using both of them for my incoming Elos 120XL. The dimensions on the tank are as follows: 48"Lx 31.5"Wx 20"H
In your opinion, does this seem like a good setup? Thank you |

I think two MP40w's would be ideal on a tank that size. Place them each on the side and experiment with the positioning until you get the ideal flow for your rock work.

I am running two on the 120 xl and have both of them on the back wall ,( I did have the back of my tank painted black) and they work great. I didn't want to put anything on the sides as I hate seeing all the wires. Very happy with the flow, and you can hardly even see the powerheads in the tank. Very clean look!
