water flow question...

i just got the koralia 4's and i was wondering if the PH's should be directly pointing any of the sps i have? or should it be just in general in the tank? just one of those dumb questions

yea, a bit of a dumb question, LOL.
always indirect, Even with the koralias, pointing them directly at the sps, will cause irritation.

You want water movement throughout the whole system, a good way to tell if your sps are getting good flow is to watch the polyps.
You want them to be moving around and always in a different direction.

This is a picture of a acro that I moved and accidentally placed it next to a sequence dart output, in a day the tissue became necrotic and fell off. If you look closely at the lower right you will see the damage. I think your kor's are more forgiving because the water speed is slower similar to the tunzes I use. You can most likely place it about 10" with out a problem. If you control them with on/off motion even closer.

There's no such thing as a dumb question!

...I would bounce the flow off the glass, or aim at the far side of your tank (assuming nothings obstructing it). Even with the broad flow of those PHs you'll want to give eveything indirect flow.
